The Lakehouse Experience

Discover What Your Business Data Can Do.

A focused pilot for selected manufacturing and retail businesses. We take one business problem and one or two of your data sources, and show what connected, trusted data can tell you, targeting few working days.

Who it's for

Built for businesses ready to test one real question.

  • A manufacturing or retail business
  • A clear business question that matters to management
  • Access to one or two relevant data sources with historical data
  • A business sponsor and someone who knows the data, available during the pilot

Places are limited, and we review every application to confirm the pilot is a good fit.

  • One agreed business problem
  • One or two agreed data sources
  • A representative historical dataset
  • Basic data cleaning and transformation

How it works

A few working days, depending on data readiness.

Where technical feasibility and data readiness permit. We confirm the schedule after discovery.

  1. 01

    Step 1

    Discovery and data access

Agree the business question, success criteria, and data sources; confirm access.

  2. 02

    Step 2

    Prepare the data

Load a representative historical dataset, then clean and transform it.

  3. 03

    Step 3

    Define the metrics

Model the data around a small set of agreed business metrics.

  4. 04

    Step 4

    Build the demonstration

A dashboard or conversational analytics demo, where appropriate.

  5. 05

    Step 5

    Validate and recommend

Check results against your questions and agree recommended next steps.

Clear boundaries

What the pilot is not.

  • A full production implementation
  • Integration of every data source or system
  • Ongoing support or maintenance after the pilot
  • Guaranteed business outcomes

Costs and responsibilities

Scope, timing, and any fees are agreed in writing before the pilot begins.

Cloud infrastructure, compute, third-party services and licences, and any ongoing costs after the pilot are the client's responsibility, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

FAQ

Lakehouse Experience FAQs

Is the pilot a production system?

No. The Lakehouse Experience is a focused demonstration using a representative historical dataset. Moving to production is a separate, scoped phase.

How long does the pilot take?

We target few working days. The timeline depends on technical feasibility, data access, and data readiness, which we assess during discovery before committing to a schedule.

Which platform does the pilot use?

The pilot is typically built on Databricks, an important platform behind our current solutions. We confirm the environment with you before work begins.

How is our data handled?

Your data remains yours. Data access, handling, and confidentiality terms are agreed in writing before the pilot begins.

What happens after the pilot?

You receive recommendations for the next implementation phase. There is no obligation to continue.
